What retrofit actually means
- The concept — a new window engineered to fit INTO your existing frame; no tearing open stucco, no reframing, no repainting the house.
- Why SoCal loves it — stucco exteriors make full tear-outs messy and costly; retrofit sidesteps all of it when the frames are sound.
- The honest limit — retrofit needs a healthy frame. Rot, water damage, or badly out-of-square openings call for full-frame — and we’ll tell you which openings are which.
- Same-day reality — most whole-home retrofits finish in one day, cleanup included.
“The retrofit-vs-full-frame call is where an honest contractor earns their keep. We make it opening by opening — in front of you, with reasons.”

Common questions
Will retrofit windows look smaller?
The new frame sits inside the old one, so you trade a little glass for a lot less construction. On most windows the difference is barely noticeable — we’ll show you exact dimensions before you decide.
How do I know if my frames qualify?
We probe and inspect every opening at the estimate. Sound frames — retrofit. Compromised ones — we’ll show you why and quote full-frame for just those.
